In 2011, we left the big agency networks to launch Activation as an independent digital agency with a mission to help grocery brands use the power of digital to drive sales.
Fast forward 10 years and we still have the same mission and the same passion, but our scope is broader – we’re more end-to-end, more capable, with more expertise.
We’re not going to bash the big agencies – as we’ve worked in them – but, we find the brands we work best with are looking for something different… genuinely open and collaborative relationships, combined with specialist knowledge, a boutique feel and nimble approach.
We have over 25 years experience, meaning we know what makes grocery category and consumers tick.
We create work that works, meaning we don’t faff around with what might work but focus on what we know works.

It is a unique city for creativity and digital expertise, supported by a very healthy media networking community, which provides access to a lot of expertise and genuine talent.
It’s also a great city for a healthy work/life balance, which is important for us; it keeps us all happy, healthy, energised and enthused about what we do.
